It is important that you use a rope of the right lenght. Treading on the middle of the rope, it should reach your armpits.

You will get the most of rope-jumping if you do it in the morning, making your energy flow all day long.
If you are dieting at the same time, skipping a few minutes more before meals will reduce your appetite.

You can skip virtually anywhere, inside or outside, alone or with others : when you are an expert, you will be able to do so in place as small a wardrobe !

Wear convenient, loose-lifting clothes such as shorts or a tracksuit; women would usually keep their bras for support.

It is also important to wear goos shœs; trainers are best. When landing after each jump, your weight comes to hear on the metatarsus and you should avoid skipping barfooted.
